The South Florida community came out in full force to show its support for a very important cause. Eric Yutzy, Chanel 10 News Anchor, was the event MC along with 2018 Ms. US Earth Jennifer Lovelace. The night was filled with great information, music, food, fun and recognition. Over 200 individuals filled the ballroom at the FIU Wolfe Center on November 16th to support Women's Health. We stood in solidarity bringing awareness on three health issues affecting women in our community: Heart Disease, HIV/AIDS and Stroke. Special thank you is in order for our Keynote Speaker, State Representative Dotie Joseph for delivering an amazing speech. We also want to express our gratitude to Dr. Hector H. Bolivar, M.D of the University of Miami for being our Special Guest Speaker to give an update on HIV/AIDS and educating our guest.
Thank you to all of our Sponsors:
City of North Miami Mayor Philippe Bien-Aime, University of Miami AETC Training, Primary Medical Care Center & Urgent Care Clinic, Vice Mayor Howard Berger of City of Lauderhill, Total Wine & Spirit and others!
Congratulations to all the Heroes who received awards that night and to CHE Network's Executive Director, Micaelle Guirand Titus and the Board of Directors who were presented with a Proclamation from the City of Lauderhill from Vice Mayor Howard Berger, proclaiming November 16, 2019 as The Community Health and Empowerment Network Day in the City of Lauderhill!
